I have followed the Bluebird project for many years and have always found it fasinating to watch as she was bought back to life. What a wonderful achievement to finally having her flying along the waters of Bute.

Well done team, its been amazing to follow your story.

Best Wishes

Rob

What an amazing achievement. We holidayed for years at Blawith on Coniston and I told the story of Bluebird many times to my daughter and her friends.
I now run an annual event in Lymm in Cheshire - Lymm Historic Transport Day. We have been enormously successful and have money to invest to bring a top class attraction like the Bluebird to Cheshire for the day. If this in anyway fits in to your timetable we would love to talk to you and make a valuable contribution to your funds.

" ABSOLUTELY ASTONISHING ACHIEVEMENT "

It's hard to put into words how I felt when I saw and heard Bluebird in full flight on Loch Fad !!

Took a trip to Bute with my wife Christine on Monday and we were rewarded, along with many excited onlookers, to the sight of Bluebird doing what she was built for.

To say what these guys and girls have achieved is "truly amazing" would be one of the understatements of the century!

Wishing Bill and all the team every success in their future endeavours.

We can only hope that the "officialdom" in the Lake District realise what they have missed out on.

Thanks again for bringing Bluebird to Scotland
Haste ye back !!

Amazing footage of the Bluebird on the water in Bute, I would've loved to have been there. The restoration project is truly incredible! Any plans at all to bring her back to Coniston?

My wife and I decided to go to Loch Fad on 7 August to see Bluebird.
Within minutes of arriving at the loch we were both totally absorbed by the whole Bluebird K7 story. The team members were so approachable, knowledgeable helpful and delightful. That was just the start. There were possibly 50 to 100 public visitors in and around just watching what was going on and blethering to whoever was beside them. What a wonderfully interested and interesting crowd. People had come from far and near to see this famous craft take to the water again. We were not disappointed. To see, hear, feel and smell Bluebird running at up to 130 mph made the hairs stand on end. How majestic.
We stayed all day and returned for a second day on Thursday 9th.
We would just like to say a huge thank you to all involved with the K7 project for bringing this wonderful craft and the wonderful people to Bute to allow us to touch this piece of history. We are honoured to have experienced it.

The team have done an amazing job in restoring Bluebird and I am delighted to have seen the videos of her under power. Would love to have seen this live, but couldn't make it. Will make Coniston though.

Had the great fortune to see 2x double runs on Thursday. Almost beyond belief seeing Bluebird going 'doon the watter' on Bute. An outstanding achievement by Bill & the team in preserving this icon. One question, how do I get my hands on a Bute '18 Bluebird polo shirt?

My wife and I came over to Bute yesterday and had a wonderful day. Not only was the weather amazing, but we spoke to several of the team and watched the two runs. Bluebird looked absolutely amazing and to hear the jet start up only twenty feet away was mind-blowing! Well done to everyone involved and good luck in the future.
