Finding the fire system pictures interesting (is that disturbing?!). If the system goes off, how and where is the water released and in all honesty would it be effective?

That is an interesting looking Model, it looks suspiciously like an Early Speedline one (Clive??) They're bloody heavy! Minimum 21lb thrust turbine recommended, that's what I run in mine. Wishing you every success with it, hope you get it on the water soon :)

In terms of the logisitics/disruption to Coniston, they managed alright when it was Donald Campbells funeral back in 2001, and many local land owners and farmers benefited from a bit of extra cash in hand for "car-parking". Not forgetting the Hotels, B&B's, Restaurants etc etc who benefited. Surely ...

Apologies if I missed something here or misunderstood but is there now the possibility of not returning to coniston next year for the proving trials?

Can not understand the f@&kwittery of the village in not embracing this and how much they stand to lose out!
