Thanks for breaking it to me gently Mike.
I could have sworn it had a slight dish on this picImageImage
I was really proud of it...

And the moral of that story is... ask first! There's not much we don't know about this machine.

I think it possibly had a very slight bend in it, but that (late on) photo is the only one that's ever shown it- in all others it's perfectly flat. Maybe we're seeing another of those 'It's raining! Let's do something!' Coniston modifications. But even if they did bend it near the last, it's still only very slight and certainly not something I'm worrying about! :geek:

Just waiting for some filler to go off.

I'd forgotten just how well that steering wheel turned out. One of the few things built completely from scratch with only photo reference.

It looks brilliant, are there any other pics?
I've put the first coat of paint on my sad looking effortImage

I've also made a start on my DMC head, it's going to need extensive remodelling....

You'll want gloss black for the rim and mirror finish chrome for all the rest except the inner part of the boss, which is flat silver.

I think there are 1/4 scale figures of Anthony Hopkins out there, maybe you could start with his head..?
