A complete harness was on show at Filching Manor but I am sure our good friend in France can enlighten us at whether or not Paul F-H had a harness with a cut strap and a number of bolts still in three mounting points.

I called by at the Lakeland Motor Museum last Friday en-route to a wedding at Broughton-in-Furness and the piece of wreckage was on display with - as far as I could tell - a correct caption recording it is having been found at Coniston. No details as to where it was acquired from, though. I did see (and borrow once) what I believe was a smaller item (although I could be wromg) from the office of the then Marketing Manager of the Lake District National Park at Brockhole. after all this time, I'm heading to Lakeland MM this weekend.
Finally managed to perswade the girlfriend to go back to the lake district.
We did the whistlestop tour in Coniston, inc Ruskin last September and have a little longer this weekend, so going to take a gander.
Fairly busy schedule Fri/Sat/Sun but hope to take in some sights around the Windermere/Coniston area.

Visited LMM on Saturday, nice place 
Much better than the Holker Hall space they had previously, but the place is a little jam packed.
Enjoy'd the TT display and the wall of Vincents/HRD's was pretty stunning.
The Bluebird 'wing' was, interesting but contained exactly the same stuff they used to have at Holker Hall/previous on the boat at Lakeside. They made little mention of the fantastic work happening here or any reference to the bluebird project website. No mention that the K7 'replica' was made for Across the lake, which I found a little strange.
The replica car has seen better days though, the wheels were all squint
Overall enjoy'd the visit. there was a guy in the gift shop saying its a better collection than Bealeau thought, nice collection, but no comparison.
If your in the area, worth going to, especially if its a cold rainy day.
