There's a really well driven Forester on the club rally scene at the moment, was going great on the Jack Frost stages at christmas time!

Good luck to the BBP team, makes me proud to be British (and a North-easterner to boot!). Damn fine work, chaps!

Yup, you can fit pretty much everything you'd add to a modified Impreza including the engine from a WRX or similar. The only tricky part is working out what era of Impreza you need parts from as while it's closely related the Forester isn't a straight copy. Take strut braces for example - you need the front one from the "Classic" Impreza and the rear from a "New Age" model.

I took my greyhound to work this week after a winter hibernation - been a while since I've been on it, but once I'd figured out what all the knobs and levers do again, I remembered what happens above 10K rpm... half a crown..sixpence..half a crown..sixpence.mtskull wrote:Confucius he say: "A contest of speed between a Pekinese and a Dachshund is of brief and passing interest to the Greyhound"

It was great having someone else there to take the brunt of the relentless urine extraction..... without which the Workshop would not be the same. I only got half as much as usual...
Seriously, it was great to meet Jon - hope to see you in the Workshop again

If you got your hands dirty with choccie sauce they'll still be dirty now or red rawMike Bull wrote:You're very welcome Jon- it was nice to meet you and to show you our crazy environment, and great that you got your hands dirty too.

A little off subject, but as most you guys are diver's, and in Bill's case a highly qualified one, here is a question.....
How quickly can you get through your open water's qualification ? days, weeks, months ? was thinking about doing it before Cyprus this year as i have always fancied going diving the past 15 years i have been (and yet still have not done it) my problem is as usual last minute thoughts, i fly out first week in June
the only diving time i have had was a "Try dive" in a pool in Byker back in 1999.... so clearly I am a season'd pro

I'm a diver. Well of sorts. First qualified when i was 17.
The moment you make something idiot proof a new breed of idiots will come along and prove you wrong
Re: The Tea Break Bench
Rob, already got that qualification....a dive master in that class....so I am advised
Mike I knew you were not a dive diver hahahaha but thought some of the original recovery crew plus Bill and John were occasionally on the forums
