On the eve of the first anniversary of his great achievement at Monaco, hope fades for poor Bianchi ...

Once upon a time such a casualty would simply have died... You have to wonder if the medical profession sometimes takes a backward step.

I agree wholeheartedly with you Bill, sometimes nature can be a better judge of the best course of action than all the doctors in the world..

I've read that piece, and maybe I haven't read it properly, but I could not see any indications of fresh progress or any new information in it.

I think it is more a case of marking the "one year on from coming out of the coma" than anything else.

There is always a chance of a miracle, I guess.

The miracles seem to come mostly from the hypoxic brain injury victims and less so from the TBIs. I think all that was needed to be said was said in the early press releases when the surgical staff described damage to both sides of the brain... and the middle.
One side or the other, maybe, but not both and when the brain stem is involved too it seems not unreasonable to say that the game is up. But I'm no neurologist, so here's hoping.

Aston Martin's name and know-how back in Grand Prix racing? It could happen, according to this ...

The ups and downs of F1...on the same day Lotus F1 team issued with a winding up order. Apparently they have 2 weeks to sort the mess out = pay their suppliers!
