Got the titanium sheet lasered for the spars today, I've got a welder lined up but he can be hard to find, wish me luck!

Interesting... Tricky material to weld. I used to do it in a glove box, basically a purged cabinet. At the very least it has to be back-purged as you go as it tends to catch fire! It pulls about like stainless too. Hate stainless with a passion!
Will be keen to see how the spars turn out.

Back to actuators
I use these at the moment, 6v work straight off an rc servo signal no programming.

The guy I know welds a lot of titanium & has a good reputation at work, he's on nights this week so I'm struggling to bump into him, fingers crossed he'll make a decent job of them.
I had been looking for actuators like those since I saw a guy using them on YouTube to close the canopy on his model aeroplane, if I can't fit this one I know where to go for one, thanks for the tip!
Cheers

I'll tell you what, it's amazing what's inside this blue foam if you rub it hard enough!
Out of interest so I can set the arms to the correct width, what diameter is BB's steering wheel?
I'm working out conflicting sizes from the various plans I have.
Cheers
